Deloitte Tax Challenge

The Deloitte Tax Challenge is a refreshing look at the world of taxation. Run by Deloitte KassimChan Tax Services, the contest is targeted at Malaysian tertiary students. It’s objectives are to challenge students’ powers of reasoning, encourage teamwork and hone presentation skills. I think this contest is a really great way to push students to think outside of the typical classroom setting.

Speaking and writing English is a must in this competition, thus ensuring that students are placed in a real-world scenario. It throws them into a the big, bad working world and most importantly, MAKES them think and talk in English – the language of business.

There are two categories: Team (5 in a team), and Individual. There are some great CASH prizes to be won for both categories.
