Over the past few months, we have also recruited new fanatics into the Integricity family. As usual, we had the opportunity of putting some of our new family members through our highly insightful and revealing Q&A sessions, and here’s what we’ve gathered:

The Design Team: (L-R) Yi Jun, Sue Lin, Chien Chien

Great things come in threes: The Supremes, Destiny’s Child and now, the design team newbies. Chien Chien is a Sim addict who loves her job, immolating her Sim to relieve stress, and is not one to complain when push comes to shove.

With the memorable quote of “The weirdest thing I have seen is Chien Chien‘s super-bendable hands,” Sue Lin is the comedienne of the team. With the vampiric tendency to work better after midnight, she’s definitely an asset to us during our busy periods.

Last but not least, Yi Jun’s passion for learning and discovering new art skills is invaluable to the company.   Don’t be deceived by her svelte figure for this bottomless pit has the ability to eat without gaining weight, and has won a few eating contests!

Mun Tzin

Mun Tzin is one blessed lass. The ability to solely live on coffee would serve her well in her dual role as the senior finance manager and events planner (of which weddings are her favourite) for our brand new Integricity Events arm. She lives for numbers and planning perfect weddings. Nothing puts a grin on her face like a perfectly balanced ledger, and the happy smiles of satisfied clients.

The Content Team newbies: (L-R) Zahir, Joann

The content team has buffed up its team with the latest addition of Joann and Zahir. As the team’s new senior writer, Joann brings with her wise pearls of wisdom gathered from hours of book-bingeing. When she is not busy bird-watching or piano-banging, this TV virgin dedicates her life to perfecting the art of writing and social media strategy.

Joining her is Zahir, or as he would like to call himself ‘the DBKL of food’. Never seen without his iPad or iPhone, this 9GAG aficionado’s inability to part with the Internet will come in handy in his new role as digital writer.

Felicia

With her passion for photography, it is no surprise that Felicia was embraced with open arms by the Stories (Visuals) team. Her attention to detail and meticulousness makes her an excellent digital artiste. A former intern of Integricity, this Kedah girl has the quirky tendency to make weird noises in the office (we wouldn’t want to be stuck in the office with her after 10pm! :P).

Phew! Not too long ago, we were writing about how we celebrate Christmas at Integricity. Time has flown by and soon we’ll be celebrating Chinese New Year. We’ve been busy, busy, busy; packing desktops, files, cow mugs, Gundam robots and more, moving into our official new home at SStwo Mall.

Since the big move, we’ve added several new fanatics to the family (that’s a story for another blog post!). They each bring with them amazing work and non-work superpowers. It’s rumoured that one of them has a knack for home decoration and pretty DIY. We’d love for her to decorate our office in time for CNY, but it’s still a work-in-progress!

We’re currently settling into our open-office space; testing combinations of furniture, getting a caffeine buzz in our makeshift pantry, and avoiding dangling wires which have yet to be tidied into some semblance of order. Nevertheless, it’s all good.

At the moment, all of us are huddled together in one space. In a few weeks’ time, some of us will be off to our own department-specific lots! It’s going to be a great year, and we can’t wait to welcome new fanatics into our spacious new home.

We hope to be blessed with a year of prosperity, and wish you an equally prosperous one. Have a happy Chinese New Year everybody! :)

While we did not manage to set up a Christmas tree in our cosy temporary office, we tried to keep Integricity Christmas traditions alive in other ways!  For instance, the Wall of Encouragement, where we were encouraged to write positive notes to each other. :)

Our annual dinner was definitely another highlight. Amidst our busyness in handling client projects as well as our upcoming big move to our new home for the next 3 years, we gathered as a family and celebrated this season of giving.

After a hearty Japanese meal at Mizu TTDI as recommended by our FatSensei, we played Dirty Santa. Twists and turns make this family tradition way more fun than your average Secret Santa office game! This year, our hottest gifts were an 8GB USB thumb drive, which exchanged owners no fewer than 3 times, and a much-swapped, much sought-after iPad 2.

We then took turns to reveal our Guardian Angels and thanked them for their kind gifts to each of us over the past month. From biscuits, snacks and chocolates to plates, alcohol and an Angry Bird Christmas headgear – our GAs have certainly levelled up this year!

We also conducted a poll to vote for our Favourite Integricitizens in various categories. Diane, pictured below grinning with her eyes closed, won Friendliest-Bubbliest Integricitizen. We think she totally deserves it, don’t you?

All in all, it was a fun time for us as we took a break from end-of-the-year stress (more photos here). I received a Gundam figurine (one of our colleagues is a huge anime fan!) in the Dirty Santa game and was quite glad no one stole it from me. I’m looking forward to assembling it and having some fun, even amidst the stress of the big move! It’s the perfect gift to crown this busy busy Integricity Christmas. :)

It’s already December, and many people I’ve crossed paths with agree that time seems to move faster nowadays. At Integricity, we’ve been soooo busy and it’s definitely been the year of many, many, many changes – and all for the better!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, a cosy office-cum-bungalow was taken off the market after we made an offer to purchase it, and our family was forced to move into a temporary one. After 8 months of being here, we’ve found a new location that we’ll be able to call home for the next 3 years, at least. Do drop in at our spankin’ new creative agency looking launchpad at the SStwo Mall when we’re done.

In the spirit of giving thanks, I’d like to appreciate my fellow business partners, with whom I walk this journey with – they’re truly awesome in so many ways.

Warren, my first business partner at Integricity, you’ve helmed Integricity Interactive and really taken it to the stratosphere. We’re supporting clients that are huge beyond huge, and you’ve inspired many in your team to work hard and achieve excellence. Who would have thought we’d be bursting at the seams so quickly!

Eric and Chui, my MD and ED of Integricity Technology, we’ve got an extremely exciting goal ahead of us, and the numbers behind this new venture keep me on the edge of my seat. I’m sure we can achieve even greater things in 2012. Thanks for running the Technology family and keeping them happy.

Grace, who so happens to be my wife, who runs Integricity Visuals and Stories.my, you have amazed me with the rate at which your business has grown and continues to grow. Your dedication to our clients is absolutely top notch (even I feel second best sometimes! Sniff…) and we can all learn a thing or two from the personal attention you give them.

To the rest of the Integricity family, each of you is amazing in your own way. We pride ourselves at hiring the best, and the fact you’re with us shows you topped many others. We’ve accomplished much, and we will do so much more in the coming days. I believe the best is yet to come. Thank you, thank you, thank you for putting in all the effort to make us shine.

From full-page press ads to onground leaflets and signboards, to social media coverage, QR codes and 360° events planning, team Integricity worked around the clock to make sure the ENCORP Strand’s Bazaar at the Red Carpet event was a success.

On launch day, team Integricity was fully mobilised as the on ground support team – monitoring social media updates and ensuring the event rolled out without a hitch. After a hard day’s work, we secretly envied this little guy over at the Kids Zone:

It seems only fitting that we cap this article with another tweet, this time, from our General Manager. (Well, actually it’s a retweet.) For an agency that is passionately in love with digital, we’re glad we ventured into the unusual!

It was really exciting to feel the adrenaline as we set up the cameras, connected the cables, tested the Internet speed, performed various tests and waited for the event to kick-off. With so many dignitaries, we had to make it a success!

Thankfully, we were able to harness the power of Malaysia’s improved Internet connection to stream both audio and video successfully to the greater audience who were unable to be physically present at the event. (Yes, I am serious about the awesome Internet speeds in our country – it’s much improved from 3 years ago!)

Smooth video streaming is quite a feat, and I personally believe it opens up opportunities for us to reach a wider audience for live events. Other applications I can think of are political rallies, product launches, services at houses of worship and university/college lectures.

For those interested in tech-speak, we used 2 DV cameras, a VGA feed that was mixed via a video switcher, a DV deck for recording, a Mac notebook, high-speed Internet and some of our secret Integricity sauce (read as passion + dedication).
