Games make their debut on YouTube
Since YouTube introduced its video annotations feature to the world, a new breed of video entertainment has surfaced. Call them what you want – mindless time wasters or cool viral “videos”, YouTube games are limited only to the imagination!
Here are few popular ones:

Spot the difference
2009 Oscars Interactive Photo Hunt! – Spot the difference between the left and right images. There are 30 levels featuring photo stills from selected 2009 Oscar nominees. Hint: If you play long enough, there’s a bonus round featuring Rick Astley. Yeah, go figure!

Whoop some baddie a**
YouTube Street Fighter – The classic arcade beat ‘em with a new twist. Control hyper-realistic Guile and pit your moves against E.Honda, Zangief and Dhalsim!

Create obstacles for this pencil-drawn character
La Linea interactive – Make your own story by choosing what to draw with your pencil. The character will then respond to your decisions.
YouTube games are still in their infancy, but you can bet they’ll get more interesting as people become more creative!

@TJ: thanks for the heads up on this “trend”. It’s bound to be popular as more and more people turn to YouTube to breakaway from reality.
