Beneath the Red Hood.

Google's Story Tellers

In conjunction with Google’s 10th birthday, this video idea was conceived and then shot. What an amazing way to commemorate its birthday.

Some interesting bits that I liked from this video:
1. Dora Hsu talks about the good ol’ days when developers pasted 40,000 lines of code all over her office because of a bet made the day before!

2. George Salah reminiscience how he met Larry and Sergey (founders of Google) and they were both dressed in shorts. One was on rollerblades the other was bouncing on a physio ball.

3. George also mentions how Google sets examples and challenge conventional methods.

4. But the coolest part is when Vint Cerf said this year Google will be testing interplanetary protocol to extend the internet to operate in Mars! Wow! Brilliant!

What are your thoughts on this? Any favourite part?

And like Marrisa Mayer said…”we’re just getting started!”

  1. Show me the beer!

  2. Awesome, awesome :)

The truth, though, is that they’ve changed a lot since the early days. A lot of the original Googlers are leaving for greener pastures.
