I Love Discounts: On-ground Activation

Last week, Integricity Interactive joined forces with Malaysia’s favourite discount website, I Love Discounts on an on-ground mission in conjunction with The I Like It campaign to spread our common love for discounts.

We traveled in our pimped-out car to various hotspots around the Klang Valley – from Telawi Street, Bangsar to Sepang International Circuit, to the ever-bustling college campuses around Asia Cafe, SS15. We even went to popular night markets at SS2 and Taman Connaught, Cheras.

Donned in striking pink afro wigs with matching leg warmers, our happy brand ambassadors chatted cheerfully with passersby about the online group buying site, demonstrating with the iPad how easy it is to make a purchase.

We handed out thousands of I Like It button badges and car stickers with bold catchphrases: “I Like It in a Group” and “I Like It in Many Places”. The goodies even made an appearance at supermodel Amber Chia’s Academy launch in Penang!

Besides that, our roving team visited media publications, with Tim the Teddy being our secret weapon. Everyone was literally fighting to have him!

We popped by The Star, New Straits Times, The Sun, ACP Magazines, Mongoose Publishing, BluInc, Hot Potato Publishing, Freeform and ASTRO Publications. Male editors were given gift vouchers to indulge at Siam 62 Authentic Royal Thai Ala-Carte buffet, while the lovely ladies were presented with a pampering experience with Zen’th Spa Facial Pampering, courtesy of I Love Discounts.

The roving team is now geared up to paint the Pearl of the Orient pink from the 22nd till the 24th of July. Penang, here we come!
