May Your Guardian Angel Watch Over You

Christmas is less than a month away! In keeping with our tradition, the Guardian Angel game is in full swing here at the Integricity office.
For those who don’t know the game, it’s basically the same as Secret Santa, where everyone’s names are shuffled and placed into a hat (in our case, an old cardboard box). Each person draws a name, and becomes the Guardian Angel (GA) to the person whose name was drawn, called the Mortal. The GA then anonymously showers his/her Mortal with little gifts or notes…well, technically – some of us haven’t gotten anything from our GA’s yet! *hint hint*
The office is abuzz with secrecy as gifts are sneakily placed on desks when Mortals are not around. Happy messengers travel across the ocean of computers and cables to deliver gifts. Gleeful e-mails are sent to thank GA’s for pleasant surprises. To date, Mortals have reported to have received various candy and cookies, discount vouchers, and countless cuppas from Starbucks.
At such a time, Twitter becomes a vital tool for stalking Mortals to find out about their needs and wants. Seizing the opportunity, some Mortals tweet gift requests, such as “Dear GA, i could so use a cuppa mocha praline frap or a toffee nut latte will do fine. /bambieyes” and “Thanks GA for my Mocha Frap from Starbucks…btw..my fave is Double Shot Espresso Frap” – so demanding!
One GA went the extra mile and created a Twitter account by the name of ‘[Mortal's Name]‘s GA’! Hmm, could it be one of the tech guys? :p
The suspense is building up as we narrow down our lists of GA suspects, GA’s are forced to raise their standards and devise sneakier tactics to avoid getting found out, and as some GA’s compete to be better than others. We’re looking forward to Reveal Your GA Day! Or, maybe not…Who wants getting free stuff to stop?!
