RapidKL: Moving Forward
RapidKL, the country’s main service provider of public transportation in the Klang Valley, recently had a major website revamp which Integricity was proud to be part of. The site is built using an open-source CMS with a whole list of customized modules and features.

One of the new features incorporated into the new website is the LRT Journey Planner. Now you are able to see train fares from station of origin to destination. It also gives you an estimated travel time based on peak/non-peak hours, as well as how many buses are available at each station. Something that should prove useful if you want to plan your journey.

“thermometer” view of an individual bus route
Another new feature is the “thermometer” view of all individual bus routes showing all interchanges available, LRT stations and also places of interest along the way. We’ve also proposed for them to be on Twitter, which will enable their followers to get updates on their services for both bus and rail. Thus far, this has received very good response.
