HAPPPPPY NE... what?? Already February? Who left the calendar on fast forward? Oh well, Happy Chinese New Year!
One month down in 2010 and we've already seen our Minister of Information Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim make a comment so inconceivable about social media tools that he became a trending topic on Twitter. I guess if one of his ministry's KPIs was to put Malaysia on the Twitter map, he certainly has succeeded. (more about this here)
Malaysia continues to lag far behind its neighbours in technological adoption because we do not have leaders who understand the new media. We do not have policies and guidelines that promote a healthy growth of this digital revolution in Malaysia... instead our leaders try to stunt it. Ooooh yes and after years of promises... our broadband situation in Malaysia is still deplorable. What a shame!
The silver lining is that the people haven't given up. After all, it is the people who fuel the growth of the digital media. Keep at it people! Tell the Ministries where they have gone wrong, show the leaders how little they know about your needs, tell them how embarrassing our broadband situation is... keep piling the pressure. Keep at it people and keep up the good work because when you do this... YOU are helping the nation move forward!
Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
Fanatically yours,

Of Portraits and Cupcakes
The Integricity Visuals team took on yet another challenge when they recently packed their bags and flew to Pangkor Island to shoot some pre-wedding portraits for a client. It was hard work under the blazing sun, but they sure had lots of fun!
