Hello everyone!

I admit to being rather shy in writing this, the reason being that I prefer working behind the scenes. We behind-the-scenes people may not get much limelight, but when people like our work, we do feel proud of being contributors to the success.

This also applies to the things we build, and for me that is websites. After obtaining briefs from clients, the web designers work with the web developers (me included) to come up with the best way to present the information effectively, at the same time giving users the full user experience. To provide quality service, we are constantly learning new things – what are the latest technologies, and how to make websites better and more accessible.

As new technologies emerge, we say goodbye to the old, such as Internet Explorer 6. Many websites have dropped their support for that particular browser, and in fact, there was a funeral for IE6 last March!

Alrights, it's time for me to continue with my reading, and put everything I learn into practice. Here's to providing better websites for you.
