We don't quite believe in getting the wizards and magicians in to conjure up a solution for you (though it is a tempting idea, yes?). Over time, we have worked out a process flow on how we profile the client requirements, and how we get it done.
This helps us actually get the work done, and keep us sane.
In all honesty, many software projects are doomed to failure, before they are even started because of poor planning, and lack of information. We are very particular about matching client expectations and understanding the project requirements before we begin adding in any "Technological Magic".
Our implementation methodology consists of four stages:
- Diagnostics
Consists of pre-project planning where our project consultants together with the client define the project objectives and forge an understanding on the business activities. The fact finding at this stage will go towards defining the requirements for the project.
- Fabrication
Based on the fact finding work that has been completed, this stage concentrates on designing the business operations and planning the production processes based on the project specifications.
- Production
Now, the technical team will have collated sufficient information to implement the solution from all aspects - database architecture, application programming, detailed documentation preparation and extensive testing. The project launch occurs at the end of this phase.
- Monitoring
Upon completion of the project, post-production tasks begin. These tasks include statistics tracking, application monitoring, documentation handover, user training, project evaluation and the closing of the project. |
