When Berjaya Hotels & Resorts wanted to increase awareness of their beach resorts to the young, upwardly mobile via an online wedding contest, we created Love Me ‘Do.
People decided on their favourite Love Me ‘Do couples in four phases: online voting, blogging by the finalists, video streaming of the contest entries, and photo galleries. Facebook and YouTube linked everything together.
Malaysians loved being a part of it. Turns out they like happy endings as much as we do.
The ultimate happy ending:
- More than 500 contest entries
- More than 1,000 fans on Facebook
- Over 20,000 video views on YouTube
- Over 850,000 page views (23564 unique visitors)
- Over 1 million total votes (122356 votes for the winning couple)
