We cooked up ZestPJ.com as an answer to PJ Hilton’s conundrum: waning revenue. The site’s clean and colourful form highlights the hotel’s restaurants and bar as well as one-off events.
A WordPress platform made it cost-efficient and easy to use. Mix in an eNewsletter and a ZestPJ Facebook page and you’ve got yourself a recipe for social media success.
We then spread the word online, highlighting monthly themed parties at Uncle Chili’s and food reviews from Malaysian food bloggers to spice things up.
The lip-smacking outcome: PJ Hilton F & B revenue doubled and ZestPJ.com won Best WEB 2.0 Mash Up in the 2010 TravelMole Web Innovation Awards. Bon appétit!
